My Top 7 Travel Essentials

I wanted to share my favorite items that I practically always pack on any trip that I go on!

  • Sony XM5 Noise-Cancelling Headphones: These were my absolute favorite travel purchase. They are on the pricey end but they are certainly worth every penny. I use them on practically every flight and they help me fall asleep nice and soundly on even the long hauls. They are also very useful while studying and working out (we love a multi-purpose item!)

  • Universal Adapter: Planning an international trip? This is the perfect travel adapter as it works for over 150+ countries and isn’t too bulky when it comes to plugging all your devices in (you can plug 5 devices successfully).
Anker Power Bank: I bring this charger with me everywhere. It charges so quickly (especially while utilizing my USB-C cords). You can plug it into the wall when you need to charge (i.e. no additional charging cord is needed to charge the portable charger itself).

    15/10 would recommend.

  • Packing cubes: Okay, I wasn’t a believer in packing cubes for a while. I may not say you MUST have these to be organized while you travel. But they certainly do help. Especially if you’re going away for a longer trip. It helps to keep different articles of clothing separate.

  • Pack of Apple Airtags: I can’t mention how many times my Airtag has saved me a**. I have put one in my wallet since the beginning of this year and it’s so helpful to use the Find My Friends app to locate my items. It will send you notifications if you end up leaving the location without your items and if anyone finds your lost item with/ an Airtag, they can locate the owner to return it. Put it in your wallet, your luggage, your purse, it’ll save you a lot of trouble in the future if you’re a forgetful person like me.

  • Comfortable walking shoes: Nothing is more of a downer than your feet aching on a trip. The greatest insurance I’ve always had on my trips to ensure I can walk with ease and comfort. My go-to brands are Brooks, New Balance, and Nike.

Hand sanitizer: Touchland sanitizer is quick to try, convenient to pack in any bag, and smells great. Don’t be gross, bring some sanitizer with you.

  • Travel pillow: As someone who can virtually fall asleep anywhere (so long as I have a trusty travel pillow), a travel pillow is always a must. I’ve been using this one from Muji for a couple of years now and have no complaints.
